I know its the middle of winter right now, but sometimes, you need a taste of spring to help you remember the warmer weather. This rose cocktail is a pretty, girly, fun drink, & you can change up the main ingredients to suit your mood. Have fun with this one, we did!
SEVEN DEGREES ROSE COCKTAIL
500ml 2010 Seven Degrees Sauvignon Blanc Premium Cuvee (Sparkling) – Or your choice of Sparkling Wine
125ml 42 Below Vodka
500ml Soda Water
100g Caster Sugar
2 TBS Rosewater
Mix rosewater, sugar, and water in a saucepan over a medium heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 3 minutes then allow to cool completely.
In a large jug combine the rosewater syrup with the sparkling wine, vodka, & soda water. Stir gently, then top with some organic rose petals.
If you feel like getting creative, you can add some rose petals frozen in ice cubes, this will just add a sweet touch to your cocktail, or alternatively, you could use a sweet pink bubbly to add to the rose colour.
